A designated marksman rifle is a specific job rather than a bigger carbine. It holds an angle, it reaches past where a 5.56 replica stops being useful, and it does that from a supported position far more often than on the move. Everything about this one is set up for that: the length, the semi-only selector and the 510mm inner barrel.
The handguard follows the real M110, with a full-length RIS rail running along its top and continuing across the upper receiver. That matters more than it sounds — a continuous rail lets you mount a scope where your eye actually sits rather than where a short rail allows, and the remaining rail sections take a bipod.
Internally it is the long Version 2 gearbox with steel SR25 gears, which is a different parts family from any M4. The nozzle is 24.28mm, the cylinder is full steel and the trigger unit is the Kestrel V2LONG, specified for this gearbox rather than borrowed from a carbine.

Good to know
The bolt catch works. Pull the charging handle and the mock bolt carrier stays back, which is how you get at the rotary hop-up; press the catch and it runs forward and closes the port again. It is a better arrangement than wedging the handle open.
This is a long gearbox with SR25 gears. Parts listed for a standard V2 are the wrong parts, and that includes the nozzle, which is 24.28mm rather than the usual M4 length.
Frequently asked questions
Is it semi only? Yes. CYMA configure it for semi-automatic fire, which is how a DMR is meant to be run.
Will M4 internals fit? No. It is a Version 2 long gearbox with SR25 gears, so nozzles, pistons and the shell are a different family from any M4.
Can I mount a scope and a bipod? Yes. A full-length RIS rail runs the length of the handguard and upper receiver for the optic, and the other rail sections take a bipod.
What magazines does it use? AR-10 and SR25 pattern. Two 170-round mid-caps are supplied.
