The DD5 is Daniel Defence's 7.62 rifle — a step up in size and presence from the 5.56 M4 family — and this is the officially licensed airsoft version from EMG and CYMA. It's built on the larger SR25-pattern platform, which means it feeds from SR25-style magazines rather than M4 mags, and it carries engraved Daniel Defence markings across both the upper and lower receivers.
What's on the outside
A CNC-machined, licensed DD5 10.5" free-float M-LOK handguard sits over the flat-top receiver ready for glass. The licensed Daniel Defence collapsible stock has a textured cheek rest and a quick-removable butt pad for battery access, paired with an aggressively textured DD overmoulded pistol grip and an ambidextrous charging handle.

Good to know before you buy
The bigger SR25 footprint gives it real presence and makes it a natural marksman-style platform as well as a skirmish rifle. Inside, the extended Version 2 gearbox and Kestrel V2 MOSFET run an 11.1V LiPo, and QBS handles spring changes. One thing to note when buying spares: it takes SR25-pattern magazines (Matrix, A&K and similar), not standard M4 mags.
