The MTW ships with a functional grip, but for players who spend hours holding the rifle the stock grip is usually one of the first things they replace. The DLG Tactical x Wolverine collab addresses this directly — DLG's grip design language adapted to the MTW's HPA-specific needs, with co-branding that ties cleanly into MTW builds.
The standout feature for HPA owners is the line routing. The grip is shaped to accept a 1/8″ HPA line through the rear with a clean exit at the bottom, eliminating the wire-line bunching that you get when you fit a non-HPA-aware grip to an MTW. The internal channel is sized to Wolverine's standard line spec, so there's no need to source specific line gauges or fittings.
Ergonomically the grip uses a moderate-rake profile with finger swells in the standard DLG style — comfortable for medium-sized hands, with enough texture for a positive grip in wet weather without being abrasive on bare skin. The shape works well both two-handed and one-handed, which matters for MTW owners who pair the rifle with a sidearm.
Installation is a single screw replacement — the same fitting as the stock grip. No modifications to the lower receiver are required. The grip is platform-specific to the MTW; it does not fit standard M4 AEG lowers without modification.
