370mm of tightbore, which is the longest in this range. Barrel length is the one specification that reliably buys you consistency at distance, and at 370mm this is the longest inner barrel Double Eagle fit to an MWS carbine.

Most gas ARs sold in this country are short, because short guns are what people buy. The result is a shortage of gas rifles set up to shoot across open ground rather than through doorways, which is exactly the gap this one fills.

The numbers tell the story: 820mm overall, roughly 2,335 grams, and a 370mm barrel at 6.03mm against the 270mm on the nine inch version. The extra length settles the BB before it leaves the muzzle, which is where the consistency comes from.

It is Double Eagle's own design rather than a licensed one, built in metal, polymer and steel, individually serialised, and feeding from a 35-round real-cap magazine. Because the gas system is MWS, the aftermarket for hop units, nozzles and barrels already covers it.

Double Eagle publish no handguard designation for the G106 range, so we have not invented one. Ask before ordering rail accessories if the exact length matters.
