MWS performance without paying for a licence. The G106 is Double Eagle's own AR-15 rather than a licensed replica of somebody else's, which is why it costs less than the branded guns sitting beside it on the same gas system.

A licence is worth real money on an airsoft gun, and it buys you markings rather than performance. If you want the MWS platform and its aftermarket but you are not fussed about whose trademarks are on the receiver, this is the cheaper way in.

At 715mm and around 2,200 grams it is the lightest and shortest of Double Eagle's MWS carbines, running a 270mm tightbore at 6.03mm. The build is metal, polymer and steel, and each rifle carries its own serial number.

The magazine is worth a word. It is a real-cap unit holding 35 rounds, in metal and polymer — the same count as the magazine on the licensed guns, so anyone moving across the range is not changing habits.

Good to know

Double Eagle do not publish a handguard designation for the G106, so we are not going to name one. If the exact rail length matters to your build, ask us and we will check before you order rather than guess at it.

Being MWS, the parts shelf is already open to this gun. Nozzles, bolts, hop units and magazines built for the platform apply, which is the practical reason to buy any MWS rifle.
