The M904 Range

These replicas are designed and built to be inexpensive and lightweight while offering an internal build quality more typically found in more expensive RIFs. The M904 Range is constructed from a nylon reinforced polymer receiver set with a mixture of nylon reinforced polymer or cnc rail systems depending on the variant. Internally they use DE’s “Falcon” Version 2 gearbox and rotary hop unit. This pairing of solid externals and internals makes for an ideal AEG for many, whether you are on a budget or you are wanting something lightweight but durable.

The DE M904A

The ‘A’ Variant is on the long side of average replica with an overall length of 73cm (28.7”) including a 12” rail system which makes for a RIF well suited to those who like a slightly longer rifle with plenty of rail space for numerous accessories. The downside to this length is that it will be more challenging in close quarters environments but should offer better mid to longer range consistency over much shorter barrelled counterparts.

The Internals

The M904 Range uses DE’s “Falcon” Version 2 Gearbox which features a Quick Change Spring system and the Falcon Electronic Control System. This Control System gives you the ability to adjust the trigger sensitivity (3 Options) and change the fire modes (Binary option for the Semi position and 1-5rnd Burst for the auto position) as well as having built in motor and battery protection. Outside of these features, this Version 2 Gearbox uses 8mm Ball Bearings alongside standard Version 2 components. This is paired with DE’s rotary hop up unit with a standard AEG hop rubber and nub set up.

These internals give good reliable performance with the added benefit of the control system and where this gearbox is compatible with numerous after market parts, you have the ability to upgrade and further enhance the characteristics you desire in the future.
