A headband and a helmet compete for the same few centimetres. Run both and something gives: either the helmet sits high, the cups break their seal, or the whole assembly shifts every time you shoulder a rifle. Rail-mounting removes the conflict.
The M11 clamps into ARC-style accessory rails — the connector on Ops-Core FAST, ACH and MICH helmets and the majority of replicas built on those shells. Fitting takes no tools, so swapping between headband and helmet configurations is a car-park job rather than a bench job.
The rotary panel is the feature that decides whether people keep their protection on all day. Twist the cups a full 90 degrees and they are clear of your ears for a conversation, a drink or a briefing, without the helmet coming off. A steel guide in the mount does the locating work, so the conversion is quick rather than fiddly.
One honest caveat on fitment. Earmor's 2026 catalogue puts the M11, M12 and M13 down as the helmet kits for the M33. Earmor's own shops describe the M11 as the part that replaces an M31 or M32 headband. Those are two different answers from the same company, and we have no way to reconcile them from published material, so match the cup boss physically first.

Frequently asked questions
Which headsets does it fit? Earmor's 2026 catalogue lists M11, M12 and M13 as the helmet kits for the M33. Earmor's own shops describe the M11 as replacing the headband on an M31 or M32. We are not going to pick one on your behalf — photograph the boss where the headband arm enters your cup and ask us if you are unsure.
Why are three different weights listed? Because three retailers publish three figures and Earmor publish none. None of them says whether it is per adapter or per pair, either. We have listed all three rather than choosing the one that sounds best.
Does my helmet have ARC rails? If the side rails take a standard accessory shoe and the helmet is a FAST, ACH or MICH pattern, almost certainly. M-LOK rails are a different shape — that is the M13. Team Wendy EXFIL rails are a third standard again, covered by Earmor's M12, which we do not currently stock.
Will it fit 3M Peltor cups? Not this version. Earmor make a Peltor-cut kit under its own part code — that is the M11 for 3M Peltor, and they are not interchangeable.
