Fit decides the rating, and size decides the fit. Earmor's own foam eartips in three sizes, because ear canals are not standard and a tip that does not seal is worth very little.

In-ear protection is unusual in that the user controls most of the performance. The published figure for the earbud assumes a complete acoustic seal in the canal; get the size wrong and the seal is partial, and a partial seal leaks noise straight past everything the electronics are doing.

Earmor call these self-developed foam eartips, designed to fit snugly in the ear canal for deep noise reduction. High-density slow-rebound foam is the material — roll it down, insert, and hold while it expands against the canal wall. That expansion is what makes the seal, which is why foam generally outperforms a silicone flange for isolation.

They are compliant with CE, RoHS and EN 352. What Earmor do not publish is an attenuation figure for the tips themselves, and neither does anyone else — so there is no NRR on this page. The rating belongs to the earbud system, not the tip.

Fitment is the M20T Pro, the M200T and the P20/P21. Note that is the Pro, not the plain M20 or M20T.

Frequently asked questions

Is there an NRR for these? No, and anyone quoting one is quoting something else. We published an approximate figure ourselves at first and then traced it — it belongs to the M33 earmuff in Earmor's own catalogue, not to the S30. The rating that matters is the earbud's.

Are they silicone? No, foam. Earmor's catalogue heading is explicit about it, and two independent retailers agree. Silicone flange tips are a different product.

Which size should I order? If the tips that came with your buds fall out, go smaller and firmer rather than larger. If they ache after an hour, go smaller. Comfort and seal usually arrive together, and mixing sizes between ears is normal.

Will they fit my M20 or M20T? Earmor name the M20T Pro, M200T, P20 and P21. The plain M20 and M20T are not on that list, so check before ordering.

A tip resting in the ear is not a tip that is sealing. Roll the foam down, insert it, and hold it while it expands. Slow-rebound foam needs those few seconds. Skip them and you lose most of the isolation with no warning that you have.
💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: Order a size either side of what you think you need. A second pack costs less than a game day spent with protection that is not sealing. In-ear systems are in ear protection.
