EMG TTI Ballerina GBB Magazine — 28 rounds, and a larger gas reservoir than a standard Glock magazine. Officially licensed by Taran Tactical Innovations, and it fits both the R34-4 and R34-3.

Gas pistol magazines are not interchangeable accessories — they hold the gas, the valve and the feed lips, and a poor one will cost you a game. This is the magazine designed for the Ballerina platform, and the engineering reflects that.

Two things separate it from a standard Glock-pattern magazine. It forms an air-tight seal against the loading nozzle, which minimises the gas leakage that quietly costs you shots per fill. And it carries a larger internal gas reservoir, which does more than hold more gas — a bigger volume warms more slowly, so the thermal cooldown that kills gas performance mid-magazine is less pronounced. In practice that means your last shots land closer to where your first ones did.

Capacity is 28 rounds, double-stacked in an extended body. On a gas pistol, where realistic capacities are the norm, that is a meaningful margin.

It is machined from durable aluminium alloy with an extended CNC aluminium baseplate, which makes it far easier to grip during a reload and gives you something to strip against if one sticks. The weight is deliberate too — a heavy magazine loads and drops like the real thing, which is much of the appeal of shooting gas in the first place.

It is Gen 5 design, so it is ready for ambidextrous magazine releases, and fully licensed by Taran Tactical Innovations like the pistol it belongs to.

Good to know before you buy

The pistol ships with one magazine. If you intend to skirmish rather than collect, three or four is a realistic load — each has to be gassed as well as filled, so more magazines also means less time queuing at the gas bottle.

Store them with a little gas remaining rather than completely empty. That keeps the seals lightly pressurised and is the single easiest thing you can do to make gas magazines last.

Frequently asked questions

Does it fit the R34-3 as well as the R34-4?
Yes, it is designed for both.

Why does the larger gas reservoir matter?
Gas magazines cool as they fire, and cold gas means lower pressure and dropping velocity. A larger reservoir warms more slowly, so performance stays more consistent through the magazine rather than tailing off.

How many do I need?
Three or four for a game day. The pistol comes with one, which is enough to try it and not enough to play with.

Is it heavier than a standard magazine?
Yes, deliberately. The weight simulates a loaded magazine and makes reloads feel right, which is a large part of why people shoot gas.

What gas should I use?
Standard green gas. Fill in a ventilated area and never store a canister above 50 degrees Celsius or in direct sunlight.

Gas safety: green gas is flammable and under pressure. Store below 50°C and out of direct sunlight, fill in a ventilated area, and never pierce or incinerate a canister. Keep away from children.
