Four hundred and fifty rounds is the classic hi-cap capacity, and it exists because it is the sweet spot: enough that reloading is rare, small enough that the magazine still sits in a normal pouch and the rifle still balances properly.

It is a wind-up design, feeding under spring tension rather than gravity, which is what makes a hi-cap reliable at the rates an AEG runs. Wind it at the safe zone, top it up when you get a moment, and it will keep feeding.
