The CP magazine is not interchangeable with the one that comes in a standard GPM1911 box. G&G list the two separately and the capacities differ — 30 rounds here against 26 on the original, which is the quickest way to tell which one you are holding.
Buying a second magazine is the single most useful thing you can do for a gas pistol. A GBB cools as it empties, so the honest way to keep a pistol shooting consistently through a game is to rotate between two warm magazines rather than chase the last few rounds out of one cold one.
It is the genuine G&G part rather than an aftermarket shell, so the feed lips, the gas route and the follower are the ones the pistol was designed around.

Good to know before you buy
Check which GPM1911 you have before ordering. The CP and the standard pistol take different magazines. If you are not certain which is in your hands, count the capacity stamped on the magazine you already own, or ask us and we will work it out with you.
Two magazines beats one upgrade. Gas pistols lose pressure as the magazine empties and the shell gets cold. Swapping to a second warm magazine does more for your rate of fire over a game day than anything you can bolt to the pistol.
Store it with a little gas in it. Leaving a GBB magazine completely empty for months lets the seals dry out. A short squirt of gas keeps pressure on the o-rings between games — the rest of our pistol magazines follow the same rule.
Frequently asked questions
Will this fit a standard GPM1911?
No. This is the CP magazine and the standard pistol takes a 26-round unit. G&G list them as separate parts and they do not interchange, so tell us which pistol you have if you are unsure and we will point you at the right one.
Does it come with gas in it?
No. Magazines ship empty, as they have to for shipping, so you will need green gas before you can shoot. Gas is listed separately in our gas section.
Which gas should I run?
The manufacturer does not publish a gas specification for this magazine, so ask us rather than guess. As a rule, a GBB pistol of this type runs on green gas and a higher-pressure gas can shorten the life of the seals.
Why buy a spare rather than a bigger one?
There is no larger CP magazine in the range. Thirty rounds is the biggest G&G make for it, so a second magazine is how you carry more ammunition.
