Most lever-action airsoft guns are an homage and nothing more: what you buy is what you keep. The LevAR is the opposite. It is a green gas, single-shot lever action whose receiver is cut to take a G&G AR-pattern AEG upper, and that compatibility reaches the hop unit and the inner barrel as well. Anything you have already learned about tuning an M4 applies here.
These two are the trim editions. Mechanically they are the same gun; ORO wears gold-coloured hardware and PLATA wears silver, both over a black body. Pick the one you like looking at, because nothing else changes between them.
Feeding is the other reason people get on with the platform. A stubby 32-rounder is supplied, and the well will swallow any standard M4 AEG stick, mid-caps and drums included, so you are not tied to a proprietary magazine. There is no blowback either, so the gas goes into the shot instead of into cycling a bolt.

Good to know before you buy
The two options are a finish choice only. Every published figure is identical across ORO and PLATA, so order on looks.
Choose this length if you want the sight radius and the weight behind the shot. The short S model is 340 mm shorter and 700 g lighter, and it is a different listing.
A lever action is one shot per throw of the lever. That is the whole appeal, but it is worth being honest with yourself about whether you enjoy the discipline before you commit to it as a primary.
The upper swap is the upgrade path. A G&G AR upper, a better inner barrel and a fresh hop rubber all transfer across from the AEG world.
G&G do not publish a muzzle velocity for either trim edition, so treat your site limit as the number that matters and chronograph on the day.
Frequently asked questions
Is the gold or silver version any different to shoot?
No. The manufacturer publishes the same barrel length, overall length, weight and magazine for both, and the difference is the colour of the hardware.
Will my M4 magazines work in it?
Yes. A stubby 32-rounder is supplied, and the well accepts standard M4 AEG magazines, so your existing AEG magazines and even a drum magazine will feed it.
Can I really bolt an AR upper onto it?
That is the design intent, and G&G specify their own AR-pattern AEG uppers along with the hop unit and inner barrel. If you want a particular upper checked against it first, ask us.
How fast does it shoot?
G&G do not publish that figure and we are not going to quote one from a retailer who has copied it off a different model. Our tech service will chronograph it for you with the gas and BB weight you intend to use.
What thread is the muzzle?
14mm CCW, so a suppressor or a tracer unit fits straight on.
