- description
The ASTER II is the sensible entry into GATE's Bluetooth ecosystem. It carries the same GCS app control as the flagship TITAN II - fire modes, rate of fire, pre-cocking, active brake and trigger sensitivity all set from your phone - at a considerably lower price, which is why it is the unit most players end up fitting.
It ships with the Adjustable Quantum Trigger 2 included, and that pairing is the point. The trigger blade itself adjusts for reach and travel, so between the physical adjustment and the electronic sensitivity setting you can tune the break to your finger rather than adapting to whatever the gun came with.
It supports brushless motors as well as conventional brushed ones, and is happy on 11.1V batteries. Firmware updates come through the app over the internet, so the unit gains features over time rather than standing still.
Choose rear or front wiring to match where your battery lives. Both configurations are the same board and the same feature set.

Good to know before you buy
The step down from the TITAN II, and the right choice for most players - you lose the dual gear sensor and multifunctional port, but keep Bluetooth control and the adjustable trigger. This is the AEG version; for an HPA solenoid build look at the TITAN II HPA or a PULSAR engine instead.
Frequently asked questions
How does it compare to the TITAN II?
The TITAN II adds dual gear sensors for precise cycle control, a multifunctional port for accessories, and a wider feature set. The ASTER II keeps Bluetooth GCS control and adds the adjustable trigger, at a lower price. For most AEG builds the ASTER II is plenty.
Is the trigger really included?
Yes - the Adjustable Quantum Trigger 2 comes in the box, which is a meaningful part of the value since it would otherwise be a separate purchase.
Rear or front wired?
Match it to where your battery lives. Rear for a stock-mounted battery, front for one in the handguard. The board is otherwise identical.
Will it run a brushless motor?
Yes, it supports brushless as well as conventional brushed motors, and is happy on 11.1V.
