Most hop-up problems are not hop-up problems. They are the chamber holding the barrel very slightly off centre, or letting the bucking collar roll, or applying pressure at an angle so the nub presses on one side of the BB instead of the top of it. A shot that leaves with sideways spin does not come back, and no amount of nub swapping will fix a chamber that cannot hold the parts square.
This is GATE’s answer to that. The adjustment runs on what they call TDC — top down centred — so pressure arrives on the top of the BB and stays there, which is the condition for a flat trajectory rather than a curving one. A redesigned POM C-clip stops the barrel rotating in the chamber, so once it is set it stays set, and the assembly is hard to get wrong.
GATE machine the body from aluminium and the internal parts from POM, and claim a seal good enough that the usual trick of wrapping the bucking in tape is unnecessary. The dial gives fine adjustment across the full range of hop force regardless of which nub you run, and it fits barrels with standard and enlarged windows.
It is built around the rest of the GATE drivetrain: their own PULSAR S HPA engine and the EON complete V2 gearbox are the stated fits, and the chamber works best with a 21.25 mm nozzle. Outside that it is a standard V2-pattern chamber and behaves like one.

Good to know before you buy
The colour is the dial and the housing, nothing else. Every option on this page is the same chamber with the same internals at the same price. Choose on looks, because there is nothing else to choose on.
It wants a 21.25 mm nozzle. GATE say so themselves. A shorter or longer nozzle will still function, but the seal was designed around that length and you are giving away the thing you bought the chamber for.
Set it once, properly. The point of the anti-rotation clip and the dial is that a setting holds. Spend the time getting it right on a bench with a chrono rather than adjusting it a quarter turn at a time between games.
Buckings and nubs are separate. This is the chamber; what goes inside it is your choice and is in our hop rubber section. GATE claim a seal that does not need a tape fix, so start without one.
Frequently asked questions
Is there any difference between the colours?
None beyond the finish of the housing and the dial. Same chamber, same contents, same price, so the dropdown is purely cosmetic.
What does TDC actually mean here?
Top down centred. The adjustment pushes the nub straight down onto the top of the BB rather than slightly to one side, which is what keeps the trajectory flat instead of curving away.
Will it fit my gearbox?
It is a V2-pattern chamber. GATE state fitment with their PULSAR S HPA engine and the EON complete V2 gearbox; elsewhere treat it as a standard V2 chamber and ask us if your setup is unusual.
Do I still need to tape the bucking?
GATE claim the seal is good enough without it. Fit it dry, chrono it, and only reach for a fix if the numbers tell you to.
How much does it weigh?
No weight is published for the chamber. The manufacturer does not publish that, ask us and we can weigh one before you commit.
