The SSG-1 was designed from a blank sheet for one job — speedsoft. It's a lightweight polymer-and-aluminium hybrid with a stripped-back, streamlined profile and a very short forend, so it comes up fast and points naturally for the quick, aggressive play that speedsoft demands.
Performance is built around a high-rev motor, an electronic trigger unit and a MOSFET, which together give a genuinely sharp trigger and rapid follow-up shots straight from the box. It runs a Version 2 gearbox, so it's familiar to work on and upgrade, and it's at its best on a LiPo for maximum response.
What's on the outside
The compact body wears a short streamlined forend and a flat-top rail for a red dot, with the SSG-1's distinctive minimalist stock. It runs a 233mm inner barrel with an adjustable hop-up and feeds from a dedicated 105-round mid-cap.
