Everything the Article II does, the Article IV does with the current generation of parts. The engine steps up to an INFERNO XTS with its extended-stroke poppet, and the board becomes a BLINC Bluetooth unit, so fire modes, profiles and dwell all come off a phone instead of a trigger-held sequence.
The tracer is the clever bit. An Acetech Bifrost BT sits on the muzzle and talks to the same app, which means you get a live chronograph reading and the dwell can tune itself against it. Setting a gun to a site limit stops being guesswork and a walk to the chrono station.
It still weighs 2.6lb without a bottle, still runs the Tank Grip with a STORM Category 5 inside it, and still sits on a skeletonised billet receiver with an 8-inch carbon fibre barrel. The difference is what you can do with it once it is on the field.

Good to know
The BLINC and the Bifrost are sold separately for a reason — together they are a meaningful part of what this gun costs. Buying the Article IV rather than building up to it is the cheaper route to the same place.
Frequently asked questions
What does the tracer do beyond lighting up BBs? It chronographs them. It reads velocity live and feeds it to the app, which is what lets BLINC tune dwell automatically instead of you walking to a chrono between adjustments.
Is the app required? Only to change settings. It is how you assign fire modes, build profiles and set dwell, but the gun shoots on whatever it was last set to.
How is this different from the Article II? Current-generation parts. XTS engine instead of Gen 2, BLINC Bluetooth instead of the Spartan board, and the Bifrost tracer and chronograph on top.
Do I need a line or a regulator? Neither. The Tank Grip carries the bottle and the STORM Category 5 inside it does the regulating.
What pressure does the engine take? 60 to 160 psi, with the regulator fed 200 to 800 psi from the bottle.
