The stock MTW trigger is a functional component that does its job, but it’s not optimised for fast, consistent fire. The Heretic Labs Speed Trigger addresses this at the mechanical level rather than in software. Instead of the standard pivot-and-contact design, the Speed Trigger uses a Delrin bearing (a low-friction polymer composite) at the trigger pivot point. The bearing allows the trigger to rotate on its axis with significantly less friction and more consistent action across the travel than a simple pin-in-hole pivot.
The three-axis adjustability is where experienced players will spend their time. Pre-travel (the distance the trigger moves before registering a shot), post-travel (how far it travels after firing), and trigger switch contact position are all independently adjustable via M3x8 set screws. This lets you dial in a trigger that feels natural for your shooting style rather than adapting to what the gun provides. Competition players typically set near-zero pre-travel for maximum responsiveness; field players may prefer slightly more pre-travel to avoid accidental actuation. Post-travel adjustment means the trigger resets at exactly the position you want, reducing follow-up shot time.
Available in multiple colour finishes. Set screw adjustment guidance is in the Heretic Labs Article Series Owner’s Manual.
