Titan Forge Airsoft HPA Tech Service — Installation, Tuning, Servicing & Repairs

Plenty of shops will sell you an HPA engine. Rather fewer will fit it properly, tune it to your site's limit and hand it back working. We run HPA ourselves every game day, on the same platforms we sell, so diagnosis comes from having had the same problems rather than from following a manual.

We work across the three main engine ecosystems. Wolverine — INFERNO Gen2 and XTS conversions, BLINC and Bifrost programming, MTW and Article Series servicing. PolarStar — F2, JACK and Fusion drop-in kits, plus the fully mechanical Kythera. GATE — PULSAR S, D and the PULSAR H hybrid conversion, including TITAN II and ASTER II Bluetooth setup. If it runs on air, we can fit it, tune it or fix it.

Book the job you need below. Each is a fixed price for the work described, so you know the cost before you commit rather than waiting on a quote. If you are not sure what is wrong, or the job is not listed, take the diagnostic option — we find the fault, tell you what the fix costs, and only proceed once you have agreed.

One thing to sort before you order a conversion: check your gearbox is compatible. Not every AEG will take every engine, and the check takes us two minutes if you ask. Details are in the compatibility section below — and if you are at all unsure, message us with the make and model before you buy. We will confirm it free of charge, because it is far cheaper for both of us than posting a rifle back.

Drop it in on a game day if you are local to the workshop at Skirmish Wycombe Airsoft, or post it to us from anywhere in the UK. Return postage is charged at checkout, so once the work is signed off your rifle comes straight back to your order address.

What we do

HPA engine installation
Drop-in fitting of a Wolverine INFERNO Gen2 or XTS, a PolarStar F2, JACK or Fusion kit, or a GATE PULSAR into a compatible gearbox. Includes nozzle selection, hop-up compatibility checks, initial PSI tuning and chronographing to your stated joule limit.

FCU & Bluetooth programming
Fitting and full setup of electronic control units — Wolverine BLINC and Bifrost BT, or GATE TITAN II and ASTER II. Fire modes assigned to selector positions, ROF set, and auto-tune run to optimise dwell for your PSI and BB weight. It comes back configured and ready to play.

PSI tuning & chronographing
For an HPA setup that is not hitting its target. We chrono and adjust PSI and dwell to a specific joule limit and BB weight — worth doing before a major event, after a BB weight change, or when moving between sites with different limits.

Full HPA platform service
Strip, inspection and service of an HPA platform — Wolverine MTW, Heretic Labs Article Series, or a PolarStar or GATE-engined build. Solenoid inspection, O-ring checks, nozzle and hop-up inspection, and test firing. We identify worn parts and advise before replacing anything.

Diagnostic & repair
Leaks, inconsistent FPS, feeding problems, solenoid faults, dead or erratic trigger response. We diagnose the fault, confirm what the repair costs, and only carry out paid work once you have approved it.

Check compatibility before you book a conversion

HPA engines are not universal. Most M4-pattern AEGs convert without drama, but a handful of platforms need a different nozzle, a different wire harness or a separate trigger board — and a few will not take a given engine at all. Two minutes of checking now saves a rifle making a pointless round trip.

The short version: if you are running a standard V2 M4 with a normal trigger contact set, you are almost certainly fine. If your rifle has an electronic trigger unit already fitted, an unusual gearbox, or an offset nozzle, ask us first.

How to book

Walk-in. We are on site at Skirmish Wycombe Airsoft on game days. Get in touch first so we can confirm capacity.

Postal send-in. Order the service here, then message us and we will confirm where to send it and how to pack it. We confirm receipt and turnaround, contact you before any work beyond the agreed job, and return by tracked courier to your order address.

Good to know before you book

Get in touch before sending anything so we can confirm capacity and turnaround. Remove the HPA tank before posting — compressed-air tanks cannot go by courier, so send the rifle body with the engine. Pack it in a hard case or the original box and use a tracked service; we cannot be responsible for damage in transit to us. We are happy to fit customer-supplied engines, so there is no requirement to have bought the engine from us — though if you are buying one at the same time we can usually combine purchase and fitting into a single job. This is the labour only — it does not include the rifle, the engine, or the tank, regulator and line you will need to run it.

Frequently asked questions

Does this include the engine or the rifle?
No — this is the labour. You send us the rifle, and either supply the engine or buy one from us at the same time. You will also need a tank, regulator and line to run it when it gets back to you. If you would like a full bundle package let us know and we can build this for you.

How do I know if my AEG can be converted?
Most V2 M4-pattern AEGs convert straightforwardly. Gearboxes with a factory electronic trigger unit, V3 platforms and offset-nozzle designs all need checking first. Message us the make and model and we will confirm free of charge.

What if my rifle turns out to be incompatible?
We contact you, send it back, and refund the service minus a £25 admin fee and return postage — covering the handling and carriage already spent. Asking us to check before you order avoids it entirely.

Do you only work on Wolverine?
No. We fit and service Wolverine, PolarStar and GATE HPA systems — INFERNO and XTS, F2, JACK, Fusion and Kythera, and the PULSAR range. If you are running something else on air, ask and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

How much will it cost?
Each service here is a fixed price for the work described. If you are unsure what is wrong, book the diagnostic option: we find the fault and quote the fix before any paid work happens.

Can I post my rifle in?
Yes, from anywhere in the UK. Message us first, then send the rifle body with the engine fitted or in original packaging so we have all the parts and the tank removed, tracked and well packed. Return postage is charged at checkout.

Do I have to buy the engine from you?
No — we fit customer-supplied engines. Buying the engine here at the same time just makes it one job instead of two.

Can you programme a BLINC or TITAN II for me?
Yes. FCU setup includes assigning fire modes to selector positions, setting ROF, and running auto-tune for your PSI and BB weight, so it arrives back ready to use rather than needing setting up.

Can you tune it to my site's limit?
Yes. Tell us the joule limit and the BB weight you run, and we chrono and adjust PSI and dwell to hit that target before it goes back.

Do you service AEGs and gas guns?
Our speciality is HPA. We do not offer general AEG gearbox servicing or gas gun repairs on non-HPA platforms as standard.

How long does it take?
Typically 3–7 working days from arrival, depending on workload. We give an honest estimate up front and keep you updated.
