The KRISS Vector is one of the most distinctive firearm designs of the last twenty years — the real-steel rifle uses a downward-deflecting bolt path to redirect recoil energy below the bore line, dramatically reducing muzzle climb on full-auto. KRYTAC has spent years building their well-regarded AEG version of the platform, and this gas blowback edition takes that licensed lineage forward into a genuinely novel GBB design. The lightweight bolt assembly is purpose-built for fast cycling and gas efficiency rather than just translating an M4-pattern engine into a Vector body — the result is a high rate of fire, more shots per gas charge than a comparable AR-pattern GBBR, and the kind of mechanical character that makes the platform feel different from anything else in the segment.
The fire selector deserves a specific note: this is one of the few GBBRs on the market that includes a true 2-round burst mode alongside semi and full-auto. For controlled-pair drills or any situation where you want disciplined fire without committing to full-auto, the burst mode is genuinely useful — and on a Vector, it's the same setup the real rifle uses. Internally, KRYTAC went with VSR-10 pattern buckings and inner barrels in their TDC chamber rather than reinventing the hop-up wheel — which means upgrade and replacement parts are widely available across the industry. The 23-click hop adjustment via 2.5mm Allen key is a genuinely refined system that lets you fine-tune for any BB weight without disassembly. Quick barrel change, ambidextrous safety and fire selector, functional bolt catch, KRISS GEN II folding stock, and flip-up KRISS Defiance iron sights complete the package.
