The REC7 MK3 SBR trims the licensed Barrett platform down to a short-barrel rifle: a 10.5-inch outer barrel under a 9.5-inch M-LOK handguard, here in Flat Dark Earth. It keeps every bit of the EMG x Barrett licence and trademarks while being far handier indoors and in the bushes.
Despite the shorter barrel it runs the same full-metal MK3 gearbox Krytac describe as their most rugged, with 8mm bearings, a rotary hop and a quick-change spring. A 280mm 6.05mm tightbore inner barrel keeps it accurate for its length, and at around 2.6kg it's quick to bring up.
What's on the outside
The 9.5-inch M-LOK handguard wears the Barrett markings and leaves the muzzle 14mm CCW threaded for a tracer or mock suppressor. It collapses to roughly 722mm, takes M4/AR-15 magazines and includes a 150-round mid-cap.
