KWA & Lithgow Arms F90 GBB — the officially licensed gas blowback replica of the Australian Army's standard-issue bullpup rifle. Result of a four-year partnership between Lithgow Arms, Thales Australia, and the Australian Department of Defense. Two-stage trigger, ALO automatic-lockout fire selector, modular one-pin takedown, and a slot reserved for the SL40 underbarrel grenade launcher.

The Lithgow F90 is the third-generation development of the Steyr AUG that Australia first licensed in 1985 as the F88 Austeyr. Lithgow Arms refined the platform across the F88 and F90 generations into a rifle modular enough to swap stocks, receivers and barrels with a single takedown pin — and equipped with features lifted directly from the contracted GBB training rifles supplied to the Australian Army. KWA's licensed airsoft version is unique in the segment: this is one of the very few replicas of a rifle that's never been made available to the civilian market, anywhere in the world. For collectors and milsim players who want something nobody else on the field is running, that scarcity matters.

The two-stage trigger is the platform's signature mechanical feature. Half a pull fires one round in semi-automatic; squeezing the trigger fully through the second stage engages full-auto. The Automatic Lockout (ALO) trigger is a pull tab at the bottom of the trigger that prevents full second-stage travel — meaning you can lock the rifle to semi-only for skirmishes that require it, without needing a separate selector switch. The folding non-reciprocating charging handle stays out of the way during cycling, the extended top picatinny rail handles modern optics, and additional picatinny space at the 3 and 6 o'clock positions takes lights, lasers, and grips. Internally, KWA's hop-up has been redesigned and the bolt carrier improved over their existing GBB line — meaning this isn't just an external rebody of an older rifle, but a genuine refinement of KWA's bullpup platform.

FPS / site limit: Standard FPS sits at the upper end of UK skirmish limits. KWA offer an optional Low Power Bolt for indoor sites; if you're playing CQB, ask about LPB before purchase.

UKARA: As a realistic imitation firearm, this product requires UKARA registration or a valid defence. We verify at checkout. Register by playing 3 games over 56+ days at Skirmish Wycombe Airsoft.

💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: The bullpup layout puts the centre of mass behind the trigger, making this rifle far more nimble in CQB than its 800mm overall length suggests. For an AUG aesthetic in a more traditional configuration, browse the wider GBB Rifles range.
