The retention here comes from an MRD, a magazine retention device that presses on the front face of the magazine. Turning a single grub screw on the side of the carrier with a 1/8″ hex key winds the pressure up or down. That is the whole adjustment — no shims, no heat gun, no hoping.
Cant matters more on a pistol magazine than people expect. A magazine angled slightly forward comes out of the carrier into the grip already pointing the right way, which takes a fraction of a second off a reload. Moving which holes the mounts run through gives up to 20° in either direction.
One thing worth knowing before it arrives: the magazine only goes in one way round. That is deliberate rather than a fault — a magazine that can be seated backwards is a magazine you will eventually try to load backwards under pressure.

Frequently asked questions
Which way up does the magazine go? One orientation only, with the feed lips as the carrier is cut for them. It will not seat the other way round, which is by design.
What tool do I need to adjust it? A 1/8″ Allen key for the silver grub screw on the side. Nothing else.
How do I change the cant angle? Move the mounts to a different pair of holes on the top and bottom rows. That shifts the angle in steps up to 20° either way.
