The AAP-01 is an awkward shape to holster. The slide is short, the frame is boxy, and almost nobody runs one stock — there is usually a threaded barrel, an optic, or a carbine kit hanging off it. A generic pistol shell either swallows it or grips it in the wrong place. This one is moulded to the pistol itself.
Retention adjusts at several points down the body, so a bare AAP-01 and one carrying a red dot and extended controls can both be made to sit properly. The RMR cut is there from the start rather than being something you open up with a heat gun.
It mounts on the same three-screw pattern as the rest of the Pro Series, which means it drops onto whatever platform you already run without a new adapter.

Frequently asked questions
Will my AAP-01 carbine kit fit in it? No. Once a carbine kit is on, the pistol is no longer pistol-shaped — this shell is cut for the bare AAP-01 with normal accessories.
Does it come with a mount? No. Three mounting screws are supplied; the platform is bought separately.
Can I run it left-handed? The shell is handed, so check which side you are drawing from before you order. The mount itself can usually be reversed but the shell cannot.
