Most OEM GBB inner barrels run 6.08mm or 6.10mm internal diameter, which leaves room for air to escape around the BB as it travels down the bore. That escaping air is one of the major causes of in-flight instability — turbulent air around a 6mm BB at velocity translates directly into shot-to-shot inconsistency at 30m+. The Maple Leaf Crazy Jet's tighter 6.04mm bore reduces this escape immediately.
What makes the Crazy Jet specifically different from other tight-bore upgrades is the air-cushion feature for which it's named. Near the muzzle, the inner bore has cut channels that redirect the high-pressure air behind the BB into a controlled flow pattern, creating a secondary 'air barrel' around the BB as it exits. Instead of random muzzle turbulence destabilising the BB at the moment it leaves the barrel, the air pattern stabilises it. The result is measurably tighter groupings at 30–50m, particularly noticeable on heavier BBs (0.30g+) and on builds where the barrel is the consistency bottleneck.
The Crazy Jet range covers eleven lengths. 113mm is the standard pistol length — fits most full-size GBB pistols including TM Hi-Capa and 1911 platforms. 150mm and 180mm cover longer pistols, SMG conversions and short-barrel rifles. 310mm fits standard M4-class GBBRs. 410mm is the long-barrel length for DMR-style GBBR builds and 16" rifle profiles.
Compatible with standard GBB hop-up chambers. Brass-and-alloy construction with Maple Leaf's consistent QC. Best paired with a Maple Leaf hop bucking for full system optimisation, though the barrel works fine with most aftermarket buckings.
