Runs an MK23 or SSX23 from M4 magazines on air. Includes a single-stack adapter and a BB retention mechanism, so you stop losing rounds on mag changes.

Every HPA magazine conversion has the same nuisance: pull the magazine and the loose BBs sitting above the feed go with it. Kross include a BB retention mechanism in this one specifically to cut that loss.

The adapter is built to fit magazines you already own rather than requiring new ones, and it comes with the single-stack adapter that makes that work.

It was designed around PTS EPM1 magazines — those were the ones used in the design process, so they are the ones to buy if you are starting fresh. Other brands may have fitment issues.

Fitting one yourself is pin-punch work. You will want a quick-grip vice, a 2mm punch, screwdrivers and a mallet: drive out the lower pins to free the gas block, take the feed lip pin and lift the lips and gas route clear, drop the single-stack adapter in, gasket the Kross part, then clamp until the holes align and tap the pins back through before rebuilding.
