Runs an MK23 or SSX23 from MP5 magazines on air. Single-stack adapter and BB retention included, and it fits the gas magazines you already own.

An MP5 stick sits differently to an M4 magazine under a pistol — shorter, and angled rather than square. For an MK23 that is often the better shape, particularly if you shoot prone.

Kross recommend CYMA metal mid-caps for this one. Others sit slightly off spec and that is where feeding problems come from, so it is worth taking the recommendation seriously rather than using whatever is in the bag.

As with the M4 version, a BB retention mechanism is included to cut the rounds you lose on every magazine change.

Self-fitting follows the same route as the M4 version and wants the same tools — vice, 2mm punch, screwdrivers, mallet. A smear of silicone oil on the gasket makes the adapter drop in far more willingly than it will dry.

Why CYMA specifically? Kross say other brands can be slightly off spec, and that is what causes feeding issues. CYMA metal mid-caps are the ones they recommend.

MP5 or M4 on an MK23? MP5 sits shorter and angled, which suits prone shooting. M4 shares a magazine pool with most rifles. Both are made.

Can I send in my own magazine? Yes, that is one of the three packages.

Is it hard to fit? It is pin-punch work on a gas magazine. Kross recommend the assembled option and we would agree.
