- description
Every loadout has one item with no home. A speedloader, a cleaning rod, a set of keys you cannot leave in an unlocked car, the gloves you take off for a reload. None of them justify a pouch and all of them end up in a pocket you cannot reach, which is how things get left in the long grass.
A clip is the unglamorous answer. It weaves onto MOLLE webbing and gives you a hard point to hook something to, and because it opens and closes quickly you can take the item off without taking the clip off. That is the whole product, and at this price it is worth owning two.
Black keeps it invisible on a dark rig and is the sensible choice indoors. It will do the same job on a hiking pack or a work belt, which is where most of them end up between seasons.

Good to know before you buy
It needs MOLLE webbing to mount to. A belt, a rig, a plate carrier or a pack with webbing all work. On a plain nylon belt with no loops there is nothing for it to weave through. Rigs and belts are in our belts and harnesses section.
Mount it where you can see it. A clip you have to feel for is a clip you will stop using. Somewhere on the front of a belt or the lower edge of a rig beats the small of your back every time.
Do not hang anything heavy on it. It is a light attachment point for small items, not a carry handle. A full water bottle or a loaded dump pouch belongs on its own mounting — those are in our dump pouches section.
Frequently asked questions
What is it actually for?
Anything small you want quick access to and no pouch for: a tool, a torch, a glove tab, keys, a speedloader strap. Viper list it as a general purpose attachment clip.
How does it attach?
It weaves onto MOLLE webbing. Thread it through properly rather than hooking it over a single loop, or it will walk its way off during the day.
What is it made of?
Viper do not publish a material or a weight for this clip, so we will not guess at either. It is a small moulded attachment, and we can look at the one on the shelf if the detail matters.
Will it work on a hiking pack?
If the pack has MOLLE or daisy-chain webbing, yes. Plenty of people buy these for non-airsoft use and that is a perfectly sensible reason to own one.
