Gloves, Cyalumes, a dump pouch, a helmet — there is always something that needs hanging and nowhere sensible to hang it. This clips to the bottom row of MOLLE on a shooter belt and gives you a proper attachment point that does not flap or rattle when there is nothing on it.
Using only the bottom row is the design decision that makes it work. The T-bar sits at the very base of the belt, which keeps the clip away from your body and means the hanger can live behind a pouch rather than taking up a column of webbing you wanted for something else.
The clip itself is steel and aluminium rather than plastic, so it takes a knock without the gate springing. The T-bar is ITW plastics, which is the standard for this kind of fitting because it flexes into webbing without cracking in the cold.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between this and the D-Ring version? This one has an H&K snap clip, which suits gloves and lanyards. The D-Ring version has a fixed ring, which suits carabiners and chem lights. They are separate products, not variants of one.
Will it fit a plate carrier? It is cut for the bottom row of a shooter belt. On a carrier with conventional 25mm MOLLE, the longer D-Ring version is the better fit.
Does it rattle when empty? No — that is what the low-profile T-bar is for. It sits flat against the belt rather than dangling.
