Black is the right answer indoors and the wrong one in a wood, and it is worth being honest about which of those describes your usual site. In a CQB building, a warehouse or a night game it disappears into shadow better than any camouflage pattern manages. In open summer woodland it is the single most visible colour you can wear.
The belt beneath is unchanged: a 1.75″ rigid duty belt that gives a holster something solid to sit against, wrapped in a laser-cut laminate sleeve that supplies the attachment points without sewn webbing. The sleeve is located by a Velcro strap so it cannot rotate on the core, and it lifts off entirely if you want a plain belt for a day.
There is a practical argument for black beyond concealment, too. Over a season of mud, dust and dried grass it stays looking like itself, where coyote and green both gradually take on the colour of wherever you last played.

Frequently asked questions
Is black a poor choice for outdoor play? For concealment, yes — it is the one colour that occurs almost nowhere naturally. For durability of appearance and for indoor sites, it is the best in the range.
Does the D-Ring come off? No, it is part of the buckle assembly. The retention strap holds it flat when it is not in use.
Can I add a sleeve in another colour later? Sleeves are sold as part of the belt rather than separately, so plan on buying the colour you want up front.
