Coyote is the least demanding colour Milspec Tailor offer on this belt. It reads correctly beside tan, Multicam, ranger green and even grey equipment, which makes it the sensible pick when a loadout has been built up over time from several sources and does not follow a single pattern.
Structurally this is a duty belt with a jacket on. The 1.75″ core provides the rigidity that holds a holster square; the laminate sleeve over it provides the attachment points, cut through by laser so nothing stands proud. A Velcro locating strap stops the sleeve turning independently of the belt, and pulling the sleeve off entirely leaves a perfectly usable plain belt behind.
Because the core is narrower than a conventional war belt, it fits under a plate carrier with far less pinching at the hips. That is the trade the Gen 3 makes: a little less real estate for pouches, considerably more comfort across a long game.

Frequently asked questions
Is coyote the same as tan or FDE? They are close but not identical. Coyote runs slightly darker and greyer than most FDE; against each other the difference shows, but against a mixed loadout neither looks wrong.
Will the sleeve fit a different size belt? No. Sleeve and belt are sized together, so order them as the single unit they are supplied as.
How much can I let it out? Around 6″ past the nominal size, which is enough for a winter layer under the belt line.
