Threaded stocks are the airsoft standard — they thread onto an AEG-spec buffer tube and you adjust length-of-pull via a built-in extension. Pic-mounted stocks attach to a rail, often fold sideways for compact stowage, and tend to be stiffer because they're not relying on a buffer tube as their structural backbone.
