Picatinny-mounted stocks have a small but devoted following — folding triangle stocks, lightweight skeletons, racing stocks designed to attach to a rail rather than thread onto a buffer tube. KAD's MTW Picatinny Stock Adapter lets you run any of those on your Wolverine MTW.
It's a small part doing a specific job — replaces the buffer thread on the back of the MTW receiver with a forward-facing picatinny rail section that accepts pic-mounted stocks. Once fitted, your stock options expand significantly beyond the threaded-buffer ecosystem.
Pic stocks vs threaded stocks
Threaded stocks are the airsoft standard — they thread onto an AEG-spec buffer tube and you adjust length-of-pull via a built-in extension. Pic-mounted stocks attach to a rail, often fold sideways for compact stowage, and tend to be stiffer because they're not relying on a buffer tube as their structural backbone. If you've found a pic-mounted stock you love, this adapter is what gets it onto your MTW.
