The long-runtime pack. 2200mAh and 24.42 watt hours, which is twice the energy of the small sticks. Rated 15C, built as a Crane TPL, and it weighs 230 grams — all three facts matter.

If you are the one carrying a support gun, or you play long games and would rather not change a battery at lunch, capacity is the spec to buy on. This holds roughly double the energy of a 1100mAh stick, and on a normal rate of fire that is the difference between one pack and two.

The trade is deliberate and worth understanding. At 15C the continuous delivery is 33 amps — more than a standard gearbox needs, but below the 43.5 amps of the 30C pack in this range. Energy and current are separate things, and Nuprol have optimised this one for the former. On a heavy high-speed build, the 30C is the better choice despite holding less.

It is also the heaviest pack here by a wide margin, at 230 grams against 86 for the 30C unit. On a rifle that is nothing; on a compact gun held out at arm’s length all day, it is noticeable.

Good to know before you buy

Buy this one for runtime, not for response. If your complaint is trigger lag rather than running out of charge, a higher C rating will serve you better than a bigger capacity. If your complaint is swapping batteries mid-game, this is the pack.

Nuprol call the shape Crane TPL. Our title has historically said nun chuck, which is how a lot of players describe any folding pack. Go by the dimensions in the table rather than by the name, and ask us if your compartment is tight.

It arrives on small Tamiya. Worth noting given the capacity: a pack this size is often going into a gun that has been upgraded elsewhere, and those guns are frequently rewired to Deans. Check which plug yours has before ordering.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the C rating lower than the smaller packs?
Because this one is built for capacity. Fifteen C on 2200mAh still gives 33 amps continuous, which comfortably exceeds what a standard gearbox draws. It is a design choice, not a shortcoming.

How much longer will it run than a 1100mAh stick?
Roughly twice the energy, so roughly twice as long at the same rate of fire. We will not put a magazine count on it, because that depends entirely on how much you shoot.

Is 230g going to be noticeable?
On a full-size rifle, not really. On a compact or a pistol-calibre carbine it is, and if weight is a concern the 86g 30C pack is the one to look at instead.

What plug does it come with?
Small Tamiya. If your gun is on Deans you will need an adapter or a rewire, and we would recommend the rewire on a gun that warrants a pack this size.

⚠ Check the compartment before you order this one. At 30 x 21 x 122mm it is the bulkiest pack in the Nuprol range we stock. A space that takes a slim stick will not necessarily take this.
💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: If you run one big pack rather than two small ones, carry a voltage checker. A single pack means a single point of failure, and knowing you are at 3.6v per cell before the last game of the day is better than finding out in a fire fight. Battery gear is in our battery section.
