Four power, lit reticle, both mounts in the box. A fixed 4x32 scope with an illuminated wire reticle that switches between red, green and blue, nitrogen sealed against fogging and supplied with rings for 20mm rail and 11mm dovetail.

Fixed magnification is the sensible choice for a marksman rifle that lives at one distance. There is no zoom ring to knock out of position and nothing to re-learn under pressure — you sight it in once at four power and that is where it stays. The 32mm objective keeps the package short enough to sit over a receiver without hanging past the handguard.

The reticle is an illuminated wire type with three colours. Red reads best against woodland and shadow, green cuts through bright green foliage in summer, and blue is the odd one out that some shooters find easiest against a pale or overcast background. The illumination is there to lift the reticle off a dark target, not to light the target itself.

It is a second focal plane design, which matters if you were planning to hold off with the reticle subtensions. On a fixed power scope the point is academic, because the magnification never changes and the reticle therefore always subtends the same amount.

Good to know before you buy

Both rail fittings are included. Nuprol supply rings for a 20mm RIS or Picatinny rail and rings for an 11mm dovetail, so it will go on a modern receiver or an older rail without a second purchase. The rest of the glass is in our magnified scopes section.

Fixed four power is close-quarters unfriendly. At 4x you lose a lot of peripheral view, which is fine on a bolt action or a support gun and awkward on a CQB carbine. If you want something you can shoot through at speed, look at a red dot instead — they are in red dot and holo sights.

Illumination needs a cell. Lit reticles run on a small coin battery in the turret, and it will be flat the day you need it if you leave the dial on. Switch it off between games and keep a spare in the gun bag.

Frequently asked questions

What distance should I zero it at?
Most people settle on 30 to 40 metres for an airsoft rifle, which is where the BB is still flat enough for the reticle to mean something. Pick the range you actually take shots at rather than the longest one you can hit.

Will it fit my rifle?
If the receiver has a 20mm RIS or Picatinny rail, or an 11mm dovetail, yes. Both sets of rings are in the box. On a rifle with no rail at all you need a dedicated base first.

Is the nitrogen filling worth anything?
It is what stops the inside of the tube misting when the scope goes from a warm car to a cold field. It does nothing for condensation on the outside of the glass, which is what lens caps and a cloth are for.

How much eye relief is there?
Nuprol do not publish an eye relief figure for this model, so we would rather not quote one. Tell us what you are mounting it on and we will say whether people have had trouble with it.

⚠ Mount it where your cheek already sits. A scope pushed too far forward costs you the sight picture every time you shoulder the rifle. Set the rings so your eye lands behind the glass naturally, then tighten, then zero.
💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: Sight in with the illumination switched off first. A lit reticle blooms slightly and can hide the exact centre, so set your zero on the black wire and treat the colour as a low-light aid. More glass in our sights and optics section.
