The Phantom sits above the COG in Nuprol's magnified line, and the case for it is optical quality rather than specification on paper. Both are 4x32; what a better scope buys you is a clearer image at the edges, more usable light under tree cover, and less eye strain over a long day of looking through it.
Fixed magnification keeps things simple and robust. There is no variable ring to drift, and the sight picture is the same every time you bring the rifle up.
It mounts to standard 20mm Picatinny rail.
