A vertical grip gives you better control of the front of the rifle and a more repeatable hold, which shows up in how quickly you can bring the gun back onto target after a burst. The downside is that it is always there — catching on doorframes, on slings, and on the inside of a gun bag.
The folding version fixes that. It deploys when you want the extra control and folds flat against the handguard when you would rather have the clearance, which is most of the time you are moving through a building.
It mounts to standard 20mm Picatinny rail.

Good to know before you buy
Currently out of stock. Needs 20mm Picatinny to mount — on an M-LOK handguard fit a rail section first. If you want a grip that also works as a bipod, the Nuprol bipod grip does both.

Why folding rather than fixed?
Clearance. A fixed vertical grip catches on doorframes, slings and bags. A folding one gives you the grip when you want it and gets out of the way when you do not.
Will it fit M-LOK?
Not directly — add an M-LOK rail section and it mounts fine.
Does it lock in both positions?
It is designed to hold both deployed and stowed. Ask us if you want the detail confirmed from stock.
How does it compare to the bipod grip?
The bipod grip adds deployable legs and costs a little less. This one is slimmer and folds flatter.
