Magazines get dropped. They get dropped onto concrete, trodden on, and jammed into pouches that are slightly too small, and polymer feed lips eventually give up under that treatment. A metal-bodied magazine simply does not care.
Three hundred and seventy rounds is a practical hi-cap capacity — enough that reloading is occasional rather than constant, without the bulk of a drum. The wind-up mechanism keeps BBs under spring tension so feeding stays consistent.
Standard M4 fitment, so it drops into essentially any AR-platform AEG.
