Three hundred and fifty rounds, and it fits the awkward rifles. A polymer hi-cap for M4 and M16 pattern AEGs holding 350 rounds, with a textured shell and a redesigned case profile Nuprol built for wider compatibility, including 888 style guns.

A hi-cap is the sensible first magazine. One of these holds most of a game’s shooting, the wind-up wheel means you never run dry at a bad moment, and the polymer shell costs a fraction of a mid-cap. The trade is realism and a wheel you have to remember to wind, which is a price most players are happy to pay while they are learning the site.

The case shape is the reason to pick this one over a generic hi-cap. Magazine wells vary more than the M4 standard suggests, and a shell that is a fraction proud will either not seat or will not drop free. Nuprol redesigned the N-Mag profile specifically to clear the awkward ones, 888 style guns included.

The texture on the body is not decoration either. A hi-cap is the magazine you grab with cold wet gloves to give the wheel a few turns, and a smooth polymer shell is the one that squirts out of your hand into the leaf litter.

Good to know before you buy

Wind it between engagements, not during one. A hi-cap feeds from a spring-loaded wheel, and the wheel runs out long before the BBs do. Give it a dozen turns every time you take cover and you will never notice it.

Hi-cap means unlimited, not realistic. Some sites and most milsim games cap you to mid-caps. If you play those, a hi-cap is still the right magazine for practice and the wrong one for game day — mid-caps are in our mid-cap magazines section.

Empty it for storage. A hi-cap left loaded and wound keeps tension on the spring and keeps BBs sitting against the feed lips for months. Dump it into a bottle at the end of the season and it will feed like new next spring.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit my rifle?
It is specified for M4 and M16 pattern AEGs, and the case was reshaped to clear magazine wells that a standard shell struggles with, 888 style guns among them. Tell us your gun if you are unsure.

How often do I wind it?
Whenever you are not shooting. The wheel drives a short spring-fed channel rather than the whole 350 rounds, so a habit of winding in cover is what keeps it fed.

Can I use it in a gas blowback M4?
No. This is an AEG magazine with a wind-up mechanism. A gas rifle needs a gas magazine, which is a completely different part.

Does it come loaded?
No, and nor should it. Fill it with the weight of BB your gun is set up for rather than whatever came in the box.

⚠ Do not force a magazine that will not seat. If it needs a shove, something is catching, and the thing that usually gives is the feed lip or the catch in your gun. Take it out, look at what is fouling, and ask us if it is not obvious.
💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: Keep one hi-cap as your spare even if you run mid-caps. It lives in the bottom of the bag, holds most of a game, and is the magazine you are extremely glad of when a mid-cap feed tower cracks. More in our rifle magazines section.
