Outer barrel extensions exist for three reasons: clearance for tracer units that need to sit ahead of the muzzle, mounting space for inline suppressors that won't fit flush, and pure aesthetic — making a stubby SMG look like a longer-barreled carbine. KAD's range covers all three with three lengths (25mm, 50mm, 100mm) and both common pistol thread pitches.
14mm CCW (counter-clockwise) is the airsoft standard for most rifles and many pistols. 16mm CW (clockwise) is found on certain GBB pistols including older TM and ASG platforms. Pick the thread to match your gun, then pick the length based on what you're mounting at the muzzle.
Pick the right length
25mm is for clearance — just enough to push a tracer or suppressor past a stock-length barrel that doesn't quite extend beyond the slide. 50mm is the all-rounder, giving you tracer clearance plus visible barrel length for the SMG-to-carbine look. 100mm is for full DMR-style stretches where you want the muzzle device sitting far ahead of the receiver. All three are CNC-machined from aluminium, anodised matte black.
