Hand stops are one of those bits of kit you don't think you need until you've shot without one. The finger grip's job is small but specific — give your support hand a positive tactile reference so your grip is consistent shot to shot, and stop your hand creeping forward toward the muzzle when you're firing aggressively.
KAD's design is a single-finger-sized projection that sits at the front of your handguard, exactly where your index finger naturally lands. Mounts to any standard picatinny rail. Low profile so it doesn't snag on slings, gear, or undergrowth.
Why it matters for safety as much as ergonomics
If your hand drifts forward off the handguard, you're at risk of catching the muzzle in a sustained-fire situation — uncomfortable at best, and a real risk on guns running HPA. A simple physical stop prevents the drift entirely. It also gives you a consistent grip reference, which in turn improves shot-to-shot consistency.
