PolarStar Fusion GEN3 — the engine that established the platform, in UK-legal specification. Supplied with the red low-flow poppet and red nozzle for site-legal energy.

The Fusion is the engine that made PolarStar the name it is. Third generation refines a design that has been fitted, tuned and abused in the field for years, and it remains the reference point other HPA engines get measured against.

This one is UK specification, and that matters. It ships with the red low-flow poppet and red nozzle, which restrict air flow to keep output within UK site energy limits rather than requiring you to tune your way down from a higher baseline. It arrives configured for where you will actually use it.

Everything that makes a Fusion a Fusion is still here — the consistency, the air efficiency, and the wide tuning range that lets it suit a CQB gun or a marksman build. The low-flow parts shape where that range sits.

Fitted to a V2 gearbox in an M4 or M16 platform.

Good to know before you buy

The red low-flow poppet and nozzle are what make this the UK version — they hold output within site limits. If you swap to a higher-flow poppet you will need to re-chronograph and check you are still legal for your site.

Spare poppets are available in red and gold, and are worth having if you tune regularly.

You will still need a tank, regulator, line, battery and FCU.

Frequently asked questions

What makes it UK spec?
It ships with the red low-flow poppet and red nozzle fitted, which restrict air flow to keep energy within UK site limits. A standard Fusion would need tuning down from a higher baseline.

Can I fit a different poppet later?
Yes, and people do when tuning. Re-chronograph afterwards and confirm you are still inside your site limit — that is your responsibility, not the engine's.

How does it compare to the F2?
The F2 is the newer dual-solenoid design with independent nozzle and poppet control. The Fusion is the established platform with a very wide tuning range and a long track record.

Which gearbox does it fit?
V2, in M4 and M16 platforms. PolarStar also make Fusion kits for M249 and M240B if you need a support platform.

Do I need a specific nozzle?
A red nozzle is supplied as part of the UK specification. If you change platforms you may need a different one.

Running HPA: always feed an engine through a secondary regulator and never connect it directly to a tank output. Check the rated pressure before setting a regulator, and chronograph to your site limit before playing.
💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: pair it with an HPA tank, regulator and line. We are an HPA tech centre and fit, tune and chronograph these in the workshop, or message us on WhatsApp.
