PolarStar Micro Regulator Gen 2 — the compact regulator, and the cheaper way into a PolarStar air system. Smaller than the MRS, and enough regulator for most builds.

An HPA engine is only as consistent as the air reaching it. The regulator takes tank pressure and hands the engine a steady working pressure, and if that drifts, every shot drifts with it — however good the engine.

The Micro is PolarStar’s compact answer. Second generation refines a design built for setups where size and weight matter: a tank-as-stock configuration, a speedsoft build, or anywhere the bulk of a full-size regulator is a nuisance.

It sits below the MRS in both size and price, which makes it the sensible starting regulator for a first HPA build. You are not giving up regulation quality, only the modularity and adjustment range of the larger unit.

Good to know before you buy

Regulator only — you will need a tank and a line separately.

Always feed an engine through a secondary regulator rather than off a tank output, and never exceed your engine’s rated pressure. Set it, then chronograph before you play.

Frequently asked questions

How does it differ from the MRS?
Size and price, mainly. The MRS is the full-size modular system; the Micro is compact and more affordable, which suits a first build or a setup where bulk matters.

Is a smaller regulator worse?
Not in regulation quality. What you give up is the modularity and adjustment range of the larger unit, which many builds never use.

Does a tank come with it?
No, regulator only.

Will it work with non-PolarStar engines?
Regulators are broadly platform-agnostic. Tell us your engine and we will confirm.

What pressure should I set?
That depends on your engine and site limit. We set and chronograph as part of any fitting.

Running HPA: always feed an engine through a secondary regulator and never connect it directly to a tank output. Check the rated pressure before setting a regulator, and chronograph to your site limit before playing.
💡 Titan Forge Airsoft tip: add an HPA tank and line, or compare the full regulator range. We are an HPA tech centre and fit, tune and chronograph these in the workshop, or message us on WhatsApp.
