A hand stop solves one problem, and on a short gun it is a problem worth solving. Run a stubby handguard and your support hand creeps forward without you noticing, until the day it is past the muzzle when the gun goes off. A stop gives the heel of your hand something positive to find, so the same grip repeats every time you bring the rifle up.
The second job is the barricade. Pull back against a stop and you load the rifle into a wall or a window frame, which steadies it far more than muscle alone. That is what the dot-pattern texture on the front face is for: it is the surface your hand pulls against, so it wants grip rather than a smooth moulding.
At eleven grams it is the lightest way to change how a handguard feels. Nothing else on an M-LOK rail does as much for as little weight, and the rounded surface edges mean it does not bite into a bare palm over a long game.

Good to know before you buy
It needs an M-LOK handguard. A KeyMod or a Picatinny rail will not take it, and there is no adapter in the box.
Position matters more than the part does. Mount it where the heel of your hand naturally stops rather than where it looks tidy, then check the grip with the rifle shouldered before you tighten it down.
The two colours are the same moulding. Olive Drab suits a green or multicam build where a black stop would stand out against the handguard.
Frequently asked questions
Will it fit my handguard?
Only if the handguard is M-LOK. The slots are the giveaway: M-LOK slots are plain rectangles with a lip inside, where KeyMod slots have a round keyhole at one end.
Is a hand stop the same as a barricade stop?
This does both jobs. It stops your hand travelling forward, and it gives you something to pull back against when you brace the rifle on cover.
Does it come with the M-LOK hardware?
It mounts on the standard M-LOK T-nut and screw. If yours is missing or the thread is damaged, tell us and we will sort a replacement.
Black or Olive Drab?
Purely a looks decision. Nothing about the part changes with the colour.
