The EPM1-RX is PTS’s high-capacity take on the mid-cap. Where a spring hi-cap holds more but rattles and needs winding between reloads, and a realistic mid-cap runs dry quickly, the RX splits the difference: a true 250-round mid-cap that feeds from a spring follower with no wind-up, so it stays quiet and ready. The ‘RX’ is the revised version, with a more precise internal shell for cleaner, more consistent feeding.
It is moulded from DuPont Zytel — the same high-grade polymer used in premium real-steel and airsoft magazines — so it shrugs off drops and hard use, and witness holes down the side let you check the remaining count without pulling the mag. The textured body gives a secure grip for fast reloads.
Because it uses standard STANAG dimensions, the EPM1-RX drops into any M4 / AR-15 AEG, and it fits the Wolverine MTW, MTW-9 and Heretic Labs Article Series through their MTW-Spec magazine wells. Its reinforced feed makes it a popular choice on high-ROF HPA builds running 25+ RPS, where cheaper magazines start to choke.

Good to know before you buy
It is a mid-cap, so it holds a fixed 250 rounds and doesn’t wind up like a hi-cap. On the Wolverine MTW and Article Series it fits and feeds, but the empty-magazine detection and bolt-catch features only trigger with Wolverine’s own magazines — not with the EPM1-RX. High-ROF players tend to run three or four so they’re not reloading mid-push.
Frequently asked questions
Does it fit the Wolverine MTW and Article Series?
Yes — both use MTW-Spec (STANAG) wells and the EPM1-RX fits. Note that Wolverine’s empty-mag detection needs Wolverine mags, so it won’t trigger with this one.
Will it work in any M4 AEG?
Yes — it uses standard STANAG mid-cap dimensions and fits all M4 / AR-15 AEG platforms.
Is it a mid-cap or a hi-cap?
A mid-cap — a high-capacity one at 250 rounds, but with no wind-up wheel, so it stays quiet and feeds from a spring follower.
How does it hold up at high rate of fire?
The RX revised internal shell is built for consistent feeding, which is why it’s a common pick on HPA builds running 25+ RPS.
