A dirty inner barrel costs you accuracy quietly, over weeks, until one day the gun is not grouping like it used to. A jammed BB costs you a game immediately. This kit deals with both, and it is the difference between fixing a problem in the safe zone and packing up early.
The rod is modular - three threaded sections that build up to 700mm, so it reaches through anything from a sub-compact to a full-length sniper barrel. It is moulded in non-marring polymer, which is the important part: stiff enough to push a shattered BB out, soft enough that it will never score a precision bore or nick a hop rubber on the way through.
Two mop heads and a pack of lint-free cotton patches come with it, along with an ergonomic handle and a compact case so the whole thing lives in a kit bag rather than scattering across it. It suits 6.01mm through 6.05mm bores, covering tightbore and standard barrels alike.

Good to know before you buy
Clean from the breech end where you can, and never force a rod against resistance. Run a patch with a little isopropyl alcohol to lift old silicone oil, then a dry mop to finish - far better than the thin metal rod that came in your gun box.
Frequently asked questions
How often should I clean the barrel?
A quick dry patch after every game day, and a proper clean with alcohol every few months or whenever grouping starts to wander. BB residue and old silicone oil build up faster than most people expect.
Will it scratch a tightbore barrel?
No - that is the point of the non-marring polymer. A steel or brass rod can score a precision bore permanently, which is why the cheap rod supplied with most guns is best left in the box.
Can I use it to clear a jam mid-game?
Yes, that is one of its two jobs. Push gently from the muzzle to clear a stuck or shattered BB - never force it, and stop if you meet firm resistance.
Does it fit a sniper rifle barrel?
Up to 700mm assembled, so it covers almost all airsoft barrels including long sniper and DMR lengths.
What do I clean with?
A little isopropyl alcohol on a patch strips old silicone oil, then a dry mop buffs the bore. Avoid soaking anything, and keep solvents away from the hop rubber.
