Optic glass is the most expensive fragile thing on your rifle and it faces directly downrange. A single BB at close quarters can crack a lens, and once it is cracked the sight is scrap. A lens protector is a clear shield that sits in front of the glass and takes that hit instead.
This one is shaped for EOTech-style holographic sights, clipping over the front of the optic without obscuring the reticle or the field of view. If it takes a hit and marks, you replace the shield rather than the sight — which is the entire point.
At under a tenner against the cost of the optic it protects, it is one of the easiest decisions in airsoft.

Good to know before you buy
Check the shape and size against your specific optic before ordering — “EOTech style” covers a family of replicas that vary slightly. If yours is a different pattern, the mounted two-shield kit may suit better.
Frequently asked questions
Will it fit my sight?
It is cut for EOTech-style holo sights. Replicas of that pattern vary a little between makers, so compare the dimensions against your optic, or send us a photo and we will check.
Does it affect the reticle?
No. It sits clear of the glass and does not obscure the reticle or noticeably alter the sight picture.
What happens when it gets hit?
It marks or cracks instead of your optic. Replace the shield and carry on — far cheaper than replacing a sight.
