The SRS is famous as the shortest purpose-built sniper rifle in airsoft: a bullpup design with a telescoping bolt that makes it almost a foot shorter than a conventional sniper for the same barrel length. This is the A2/M2 generation with the 22-inch barrel, around 25% lighter than the models it replaced.
It's a high-end spring bolt-action with an aeronautical-grade aluminium piston body and head, a steel bolt handle and a 41cc air-displacement bolt, fed by a 6.05mm precision barrel. It accepts standard APS 13mm springs, so tuning power to a site limit is straightforward, and Silverback's parts support is excellent.
What's on the outside
The bullpup chassis keeps the overall length to around 865mm despite the long 22-inch barrel, and it has a full top rail for optics and a 14mm CCW threaded muzzle. It feeds from a 30-round magazine.
