Strike Carbon HEX 40 4" Forged Carbon Airsoft Suppressor — a compact 40mm can with staggered felt baffles and a laser-engraved hex finish.

The HEX 40 is Strike Carbon's hexagon-engraved suppressor, and this is the shorter 4-inch version. The body is forged carbon fibre paired with 7075-grade aluminium, so it adds presence to a muzzle without adding meaningful weight — forged carbon gives real rigidity and impact resistance at a fraction of the mass of an aluminium can.

Inside, staggered felt baffles work in sequence to absorb and break up the muzzle report, taking the sharp crack off each shot. It is a genuine sound-dampening design rather than a hollow cosmetic tube, which matters if you play stealth-focused or woodland games where noise gives away your position.

At 40mm across and 4 inches long it keeps a tight, purposeful profile that suits shorter builds, pistol carbines and anyone who wants suppression without a long can hanging off the front. The laser-engraved hex pattern across the carbon gives it a distinctive look that sets it apart from a plain sleeve.

Good to know before you buy

The shorter of the two HEX 40 lengths — pick this one if you want the sound damping and the carbon look while keeping your build compact. It threads on 14mm CCW, the standard fitting on the vast majority of airsoft rifles, so it drops straight onto most builds.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit my gun?
It uses a 14mm counter-clockwise thread, the standard fitting on the vast majority of airsoft rifles, so it screws straight on. Pistols typically use an 11mm clockwise thread instead and will need an adaptor.

Does it actually reduce the noise?
Yes. The staggered felt baffles absorb and disrupt the muzzle report, so the shot sounds softer and less sharp. It will not silence an airsoft gun completely, and mechanical noise from the gearbox or bolt carries on regardless.

Why carbon fibre instead of aluminium?
Forged carbon is far lighter than an equivalent aluminium can while staying rigid and impact-resistant, so you get the look and the sound damping without weighing down the front of the gun.

What is the difference between the 4-inch and the 6-inch?
Both are the same 40mm HEX 40 design. The 4-inch keeps the build short and quick to handle; the 6-inch has more internal volume and a longer, full-size silhouette.
