This is the 6-inch member of Strike Carbon's HEX 40 family, built from forged carbon fibre with 7075-grade aluminium fittings. Stretching the can to six inches gives a full-size, aggressive silhouette on a rifle, and because the shell is carbon rather than metal the extra length costs you very little in weight.
That added length also means more internal volume for the staggered felt baffles to work with. More space for expanding air, and more baffle surface for it to pass through, means the report has more opportunity to soften before it leaves the can — useful on longer builds and marksman rifles where you are already trying to stay unseen and unheard.
The laser-engraved hexagon pattern runs across the forged carbon body, and because forged carbon marbles differently in every moulding, no two look exactly alike. It is a can that finishes a build visually as much as acoustically.

Good to know before you buy
Choose this length if you want the fuller silhouette and the extra internal volume. Worth checking it clears your rail or handguard on a short build. The 14mm counter-clockwise thread matches what nearly every airsoft rifle uses, so fitting is usually a straight swap.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the 4-inch HEX 40?
Same 40mm diameter, same forged carbon and felt-baffle construction — just two inches longer. The 6-inch has more internal volume for the baffles to work with and a longer, full-size look on the rifle.
Will it make my gun front-heavy?
Very little. Forged carbon weighs a fraction of what an aluminium can of the same size would, so even at six inches the balance change at the muzzle is minimal compared with a metal suppressor.
Can I use it on an HPA or gas gun as well as an AEG?
Yes. Mounting is by the 14mm CCW muzzle thread, so whatever drives the gun beneath it makes no difference — AEG, HPA and gas blowback rifles all take it.
Do the felt baffles need replacing?
Felt is a consumable over a long life and can pick up dirt and BB residue. Strike Carbon produce modular felt baffle systems separately if you ever want to refresh a stack.
