Lubricant choice matters more inside an HPA engine than most people expect. The wrong grease attacks o-rings, migrates into the air path, or thickens in cold weather until the poppet response goes soft. Since a bottle of the correct grease costs a fraction of a solenoid, it is a poor place to economise.
Gun Sav is a synthetic grease specified for use on Wolverine HPA engines, and Wolverine recommend it themselves rather than leaving owners to work it out. If you strip your own engine for servicing, this is what should be going back in.
As an authorised Wolverine tech centre we use it on the bench, which is the simplest endorsement we can offer: it is what goes into customer engines that leave here.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use silicone oil instead? They do different jobs. Silicone oil is for magazines and gas systems; this is a grease for engine internals. One is not a substitute for the other.
How often should I re-grease? Whenever the engine is stripped for service. There is no fixed mileage — how hard and how wet you play decides it.
Will it damage o-rings? It is specified for engines whose seals are the ones you are worried about, which is exactly why using the recommended product matters here.
