A full steel back plate for the Tokyo Marui MP7 GBB. Both halves, in 316 stainless — Kross do not cheap out on the material.

The MP7 GBB has a known weak point at the rear, and the factory part is where it shows. This is the replacement: both halves of the back plate, precision engineered in 316 stainless steel rather than something softer chosen to hit a price.

It is supplied as a complete unit rather than a single half, so there is no mixing new and worn parts. To fit it you will need all the parts of your original back plate, so do not throw anything away before you start.

⚠ Keep your original back plate. Kross state that installation requires all parts of the original. Strip it carefully and keep everything until the new one is in.

Frequently asked questions

Do I get both halves? Yes. Kross supply it as a full unit specifically so you are not pairing new steel with a worn half.

Why 316 stainless? It is a corrosion-resistant grade rather than a cheap one. Kross are explicit that they have not cut the material spec here.

Can I fit it myself? It is rear receiver work. If you are comfortable stripping the back of an MP7, yes; if not, we can do it.

Preventative or after the fact? Either. It works as a rebuild and as a way of not needing one.
